THEATRE BENEFIT: Benefit performance for Kevin Monsell

Northeast Stage will hold a benefit performance for Kevin Monsell, one of the actors in its troupe, who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. The benefit will be held Saturday, Feb. 10 from 8 to 9 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church Hall in Greenport. According to a press release issued by Northeast Stage, Monsell, a beloved member of the theatre community, was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. He has appeared in numerous plays throughout Long Island, most recently with Northeast Stage and North Fork Community Theatre. All proceeds raised will go to assist Monsell with his treatment expenses and medical bills. The evening will feature the best actors, musicians, and singers the East End has to offer and include raffles and a Chinese auction. Tickets are $20 per person and are available at the door.
