RECREATION: Sand Castle Contest at Hither Hills State Park

Thursdays: NY State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation plays host to a weekly sand castle contest at Hither Hills State Park which is open to all ages. Sand, water, and natural materials native to the beach are used to create sculptures. Prizes are awarded in several categories.
