BENEFIT: Have a Heart Dinner hosted by CAST at The Community Center at Peconic Landing
February 15, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
$10 – $25Please Join us on February 15th for the Annual Have A Heart Dinner proudly hosted by Peconic Landing. Enjoy an evening of good food, company, and music to benefit CAST’s Emergency Fund. Our Emergency Fund helps clients who are faced with unexpected emergencies including heat, electricity, medical bills, car repairs, transportation needs, and other expenses that arise with little or no warning._ In 2017, the Emergency Fund helped CAST provide over $11,000 in assistance to 40 families in need. One client who lost his job needed help paying for medical expenses. A homeless clients was able to move into an apartment. We also helped a client with car repairs so she could continue working as a child care provider for a local family. Many other clients needed help with electric, fuel, rent or other housing related expenses. CAST pays the service providers (i.e., vendors, landlords) directly after the Emergency Assistance application is approved. We hope you can help us with our mission of providing a safety net for Southold Town residents in need. The Emergency Fund is critical to our mission and the Have A Heart Dinner raises funds that go directly to our Emergency Fund. We hope to see you on February 15th for a fun evening of ‘Neighbors Helping Neighbors’ at Peconic Landing!
